Build the after-hours line your team needs.

Timeline: configuration and handoff are completed after one working session.

Not included: ongoing answering coverage or monthly support; those are quoted separately by unit count.

EMERGENCY ROUTING

Your team defines the escalation path. We follow it.

During setup, clients define their own designated on-call list and agreed escalation order for every property.

Urgent reports include

Active flooding or major leaks, fire or smoke, gas odors, loss of heat during cold weather, loss of essential utilities affecting the building, lockouts that create an immediate safety risk, and credible threats to people or property.

01

Confirm

Confirm the property and callback number.

02

Guide

For fire, gas, medical, or immediate danger, tell the tenant to call 911.

03

Escalate

Make a live voice call to the on-call contact, then continue through the agreed list if needed.

Routine calls: Maintenance and leasing requests are captured and routed through normal notification rules. SteadyLine does not dispatch emergency services or replace 911.

HOW WE GET THERE

Three steps. No guesswork.

  1. 01

    Map the current flow

We look at where calls land now, what gets missed, and who needs to know.

  2. 02

    Set the rules

We write down what counts as urgent, what gets logged, and where each alert goes.

  3. 03

    Hand it to your team

You receive the routing map and working rules your team can use the next night.

THE DETAILS

Straight answers before you start.

Need to map your call flow first?

No. It is a one-time setup fee. It does not create a recurring charge.
What about ongoing support?
Ongoing answering coverage and monthly support are quoted separately by unit count.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. The setup is built around the phone number and tools your team already uses.
How are emergency calls handled?
Urgent reports prompt a live voice call to your designated on-call contact, then the next person in your agreed escalation order if there is no answer.
